Abstract
This paper analytically examines the concept of thawāb (divine reward) in Islam within the context of contemporary religious attitudes. Though thawāb is a foundational driver of human behavior and moral development in the Islamic way of life, materialism and postmodernism have reduced it to a merely ritualistic level. Drawing upon the Quran, Prophetic traditions, and classical scholarship, the study concludes that while thawāb embodies a comprehensive moral and spiritual system, a significant gap exists in its understanding and transmission. The paper recommends conveying its true meaning to the younger generation through educational curricula and social institutions.
